The #898 series bumper hinges are used on all types of box, case, and luggage applications. The two "bumper projections" on each hinge provide feet for your case and do away with the installation of separate case bumpers. These hinges range from the smallest with an overall height of 1.85" to the mid-size hinge at 2.7", to the largest at 3.55". All hinges are approx. 1-1/4" wide. They are manufactured in both clinch-on and rivet or screw- on versions. All clinch-on versions can be installed with the same clinching die. Holes in the screw-on versions are .130" Dia. In addition, these hinges can be manufactured in either flush mount or over-the-valance styles.
